MEISER sheet metal profile grating is an alternative to standard MEISER grating, especially when large span widths have to be bridged or a more closed surface is required. The special embossing and perforation of the surface ensure very high levels of slip resistance. Everywhere in industry where work is carried out with glide-enhancing substances, sheet metal profile grating is a good choice.
The possibility of producing elements of up to a length of 6,50 metres ensures fast installation, which is further accelerated with innovative fixing clips that we have developed ourselves. For indoor applications it is also possible to use sheet metal profile grating consisting of sendzimir-galvanised steel strip. This results in a significant cost advantage. One special field is non-flammable sheet metal profile grating. This version has been tested and certified by the MFPA (Material Research and Testing Institute) and is suitable, for example, as a transformer tray covering.
Surface with serrations
Profile planking with serrations offer good anti-slip properties and drainage effects and are especially good for use in areas where oil and grease are prevalent. The arrangement of the punched serration ensures an open cross-section up to 70 %, a key feature when sprinkler systems are used. The efficient drainage properties and the increased protection against items falling through make these planking a perfect intermediate level or gangway in factory buildings. Not only due to their high stability, profile planking with serrations are ideally suited for use in automotive, construction, industrial and agricultural applications.
Perforations / embossing
Profile planking with perforations/embossing are suitable for a wide range of applications.
The different surface variations make this possible. Perforations stamped upwards and downwards, giving anti-slip properties and self-drainage, or perforations in one direction only. Their small perforation in combination with maximum anti-slip properties make the planks especially suitable for use in public access areas and escape ways.
The profile plank system can therefore be considered as a practical allrounder.
Thanks to their versatility, profile planking with a slotted surface are suitable for a wide range of applications. The large, downward punched openings ensure very good drainage action and very high light transmittance. One advantage of profile planking with a slotted surface is very high transverse stiffness by means of which a high point load is achieved. These planks can be manufactured with anti-slip properties or a smooth surface. Planks with slotted surface are used mainly in the industrial sector but can also be used in public and private areas. Further application options are in shelf construction or as an aesthetic architectural element.
Planks with a closed surface combine the positive properties of chequer plate with the benefits of profile planking. This type is especially suited for use in areas where objects or dirt are to be prevented from falling through. This closed floor covering has a very large span length, implying that the substructure can be significantly reduced. These planks are an attractive and cost-efficient alternative to chequer plate.
