Every year in the pre-Christmas period our MEISER apprentices plan a Christmas campaign.
As last year, our apprentices presented themselves with a Christmas stand at the Limbach Christmas market.
There were homemade crêpes, hot cocoa, hot Hugo and numerous Christmas delicacies from various countries. Biscuits, honey, Italian cakes, nut corners and much more were donated by MEISER employees. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your donations.
€ 512.50 were generated and our management increased the donation by the same amount.
As the weather was not so good, some items were unfortunately not sold on this day.
With this remainder, our apprentices organized an internal raffle; the draw took place the last day of work. The result was an additional € 505.16 which was donated to the "Sternenregen" campaign.
In order to allow wheelchair access to the museum, it was necessary to compensate for a height of 60 cm. It soon became clear that a double ramp with a maximum gradient of 6% had to be used. The decision was made in favour of the French MEISER product "RAMPAKIT". At the request of the museum management, MEISER grating (30x10, serrated crossbar) were used as floor covering.
The ramp was powder-coated (grey DB 702) to meet a specification of the monument conservators.
The terrain will be elevated so that the transition to the ramp becomes smooth and thus even easier to drive on.
Senior pupils of the Marpingen Community School on excursions in Berlin with Alsatian partners.
What is special about this school friendship is that pupils aged 16-18 regularly take part in joint excursions in a political context and jointly discuss political topics with a European dimension, i.e. in two languages. At the end of March/beginning of April, the pupils had already been in Berlin together for nearly a week, where the Bundestag, the Federal Chancellery, the Saarland state representation and the French embassy were places of political discussion.
Gebr. MEISER GmbH welcomed and supported this great school project of the Comprehensive/Community School Marpingen.
Last year, the apprentices visited the SOS Children's Village in Merzig/Hilbringen and brought the children homemade cookies, cakes and chocolate Santa Clauses.
This year our apprentices presented themselves at the Limbach Christmas market with a MEISER Christmas stand where they sold homemade crêpes, hot cocoa, hot Hugo and Christmas delicacies from various countries.
The drinks and ingredients for baking were sponsored by MEISER. Biscuits, honey, Italian cakes, nut corners, banana brownies and much more were donated by MEISER employees. Many thanks for this...
The apprentices generated € 835.00 with their Christmas stand and the MEISER management increased the donation by the same amount, so that a total of € 1,670.00 will be donated to the "Sternenregen" campaign. Visitors to the Christmas market donated another € 56.67, which also went to "Sternenregen". The amounts will be handed over to Radio Salü within the next few days.
