Nursing home for disabled children

FAMILY MEISER SUPPORTS THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FACILITY FOR DISABLED CHILDREN

In the future, disabled children and young people shall be cared on the premises of the Benedictine Abbey of St. Mauritius in Tholey. The designs for the nursing home are currently being prepared and construction is scheduled to begin in 2019. After completion, the nursing home offers short-term care for children and young people with disabilities. It will be operated by Lebenshilfe St. Wendel.

The Meiser family's personal relationship with the monastery and Abbot Mauritius made the construction possible in the historical ambience of the abbey and they are supporting the project financially.
