Manufacturing process
The production of expanded metal is carried out in a controlled, multi-stage process.
First, metal sheets or coils made of steel, aluminium, stainless steel or other materials are selected in the required material thickness and width and prepared for further processing.
The material is then fed into the production machine, where the sheet is precisely slit and stretched simultaneously by guided blades. This continuous process creates a uniform, three-dimensional mesh structure with defined mesh geometries.
This process makes particularly efficient use of the material, as the surface area is significantly increased without generating scrap. At the same time, the strength and stability of the original material are maintained. This makes expanded metal suitable for a wide range of technical and architectural applications.
