Press-locked gratings are among the most widely used grating types throughout Europe. Their manufacturing process offers exceptional design flexibility compared with press-welded gratings, allowing for a wide range of mesh configurations and bearing bar dimensions. As a result, they can be adapted to virtually any application and aesthetic requirement.

Solid gratings are characterised by bearing bars and filler bars with identical cross-sections, resulting in a uniform grid with equal bar heights. The bearing bars span the support structure and remain unslotted on the underside.

This grating has a raised edging at the bottom, but only at the ends of the bearing bars. As a result, the locking mechanism is less pronounced and the intended use is more flexible, as you are not tied to a specific crossbar width.
