Press-Locked Gratings

Press-locked gratings are among the most widely used grating types throughout Europe. Their manufacturing process offers exceptional design flexibility compared with press-welded gratings, allowing for a wide range of mesh configurations and bearing bar dimensions. As a result, they can be adapted to virtually any application and aesthetic requirement.

MEISER: Heavy-Duty Gratings
MEISER - Heavy-Duty Gratings

Heavy-Duty Gratings

MEISER heavy-duty gratings are specifically engineered for applications involving exceptionally high loads. They are manufactured as press-locked gratings with extra-high and/or extra-wide bearing bars, complemented by correspondingly dimensioned filler bars.

MEISER: Gutter gratings

Gutter gratings

MEISER channel gratings are made of steel, stainless steel or aluminum - to suit the area of application, the environment and the required load. The channel covers are available up to a maximum dimension of 300 x 1,500 mm and can be designed for everything from walk-on (...)

MEISER: Full Gratings
MEISER - Full Gratings

Full Gratings

Solid gratings are characterised by bearing bars and filler bars with identical cross-sections, resulting in a uniform grid with equal bar heights. The bearing bars span the support structure and remain unslotted on the underside.

Louvre Gratings

Where reduced visibility or controlled screening is required, louvre gratings provide an effective solution. Their applications extend far beyond walkways, bridges and transition areas.

Thanks to the wide range of available materials and design options, press-locked gratings can be tailored precisely to the requirements of each application.

Press welded gratings

MEISER press-welded gratings have long been the preferred choice for a wide range of industrial applications. Every intersection between the bearing bars and filler bars is resistance-welded under high pressure, creating an exceptionally strong, durable and dimensionally stable structure

Press-Welded Gratings with Sheet Metal Strips

Where press-welded gratings are required while simultaneously preventing smaller objects from falling through, MEISER offers press-welded gratings with integrated perforated steel strips.

Press-Welded Offshore Gratings

MEISER offshore gratings have been specifically developed for use on offshore drilling platforms and other demanding marine applications.

MEISER: Press-Welded Gratings with Smooth Round Bars
MEISER - Press-Welded Gratings with Smooth Round Bars

Press-Welded Gratings with Smooth Round Bars

While standard press-welded gratings are manufactured with twisted square filler bars to provide enhanced slip resistance, smooth round bars can be used where architectural appearance takes priority.

MEISER: Press-Welded Gratings
MEISER - Press-Welded Gratings

Press-Welded Gratings

Press-welded gratings are widely used in the oil and gas industry, mining, power generation and other heavy-duty industrial environments. They are particularly suitable for applications exposed to high shear forces or where platform coverings require frequent replacement.

Shelf grids

MEISER shelf grating has decisive advantages over other shelf coverings in logistics systems. In addition to their durability, light and water permeability are particularly important factors - especially when sprinkler systems are used. In addition, the shelf occupancy is also visible from below. Sophisticated detailed solutions facilitate the installation of the gratings and offer additional, integrated benefits.

MEISER: Shelf grids laid on with raised edging at the bottom

Shelf grids laid on with raised edging at the bottom

This grating has a raised edging at the bottom, but only at the ends of the bearing bars. As a result, the locking mechanism is less pronounced and the intended use is more flexible, as you are not tied to a specific crossbar width.

MEISER: Shelf grating inlaid with MEISER Z-angle profile

Shelf grating inlaid with MEISER Z-angle profile

This is the most common version of the inserted shelf grating. Our self-developed rolled profile, which is inserted into the bearing bars and additionally welded, serves as the angled collar.

MEISER: Shelf grids inserted for double shelves

Shelf grids inserted for double shelves

This shelf grating element consists of two gratings that are connected to form a unit by a U-profile in the middle support area. This creates a continuous connection above the double shelf, the full shelf height is retained.

MEISER: Meiser Module
MEISER - Meiser Module

Meiser Module

Strong. Light. Reliable. With commercially available gratings, the bearing bars are usually of the same height. In shelving applications, however, load carriers are often used that are not moved around much in the shelving and therefore never load some of the bearing bars.

Shelf grating inlaid with heating panel – Grating variant

This grating was specially developed for the legally required fire protection. A 0.8 mm thick, sendzimir-galvanized smooth sheet is mounted on the U-profiles or, in the case of gratings, on the Z-profiles and thus acts as a thermal insulation sheet.

Special gratings Gratings

MEISER has developed and produced over 5,000 types of grating - many of them to specific specifications from customers, architects or planning offices. Whether functionality, aesthetics or budget set the framework: Technical expertise and experience are required for special solutions such as comb gratings, slatted gratings or louvre gratings. The impulse comes from you, the suitable and reliable solution from MEISER.

Boat Dock Racks

Our range of specialty gratings also includes meiser boat dock gratings. Instead of the crossbars typically used, these gratings feature filler bars with a flat, pressed-in U-profile.

MEISER: Slatted gratings
MEISER - Slatted gratings

Slatted gratings

MEISER slatted gratings clearly stand out visually from a classic grating. The function of the filler bar in this design is performed by a tube that is inserted in the middle of the bearing bars. This gives the slatted grating a very high-quality appearance, but is less (...)

MEISER: Comb grids
MEISER - Comb grids

Comb grids

MEISER comb gratings are pressed gratings with filler bars that protrude upwards. This makes the bearing bars almost invisible, so that the grating no longer looks like a grating but like a comb. By emphasizing the filler bars, a very elegant and light appearance is (...)

MEISER: Top Plate

Top Plate

The MEISER Top Plate grating combines the various advantages of a chequer plate covering with those of a grating. The closed surface of a tear plate is supplemented by the high stability of a grating, for example to create a surface that can be driven on.
