Pointed tooth slide protection SR1
The pointed-tooth slide protection is used exclusively for press-welded gratings. In this form, the bearing bar is provided with particularly pointed notches by seamlessly lining up crescent-shaped cut-outs. This significantly increases the anti-slip properties of this type of grating. With this profile, slip resistance class R12 can be achieved with certain mesh widths.
Sawtooth slide protection SR2
Sawtooth anti-slip protection is only possible with press-locked gratings and is characterized by a sawtooth-shaped notch in the bearing and/or cross bars. With this form of anti-slip protection, a maximum slip resistance class of R12 can be achieved. Other special shapes according to foreign standards (e.g. Danish railroad) are also based on this anti-slip profile. Please contact us if required.
Super-slip protection SR3
Super anti-slip protection is only possible with press-locked gratings and is characterized by extremely high slip resistance. The bearing and cross bars are punched with particularly sharp edges. With this form, the highest slip resistance class R13 can be achieved. These gratings are used particularly in the food industry and in areas with high levels of soiling or regular contact with liquids.
Standard wheel slide protection SR4
The standard anti-slip protection is characterized by a semicircular notch in the bearing and/or cross bars, with residual bars remaining between the notches. This enables a slip resistance class of up to R12 to be achieved for press-locked gratings (notching of bearing and cross bars) and up to R11 for press-welded gratings (notching only possible on the bearing bar). This variant is used as standard in regularly frequented outdoor areas.
In recent years, the issue of slip resistance of walkable surfaces has become increasingly important. Wherever slippery substances are used, i.e. where oils, greases and emulsions are used, there is an increased risk of slipping.
