Yesterday’s Tomorrow Is Today: The 4th MEISER Energy Summit Looks to the Future

How can we shape the energy transition in a world that is changing ever more rapidly? This was the key question explored at the 4th MEISER Energy Summit, where we were delighted to welcome numerous guests last Thursday.

Following initial insights into production at our Losheim site and a tour of the slitting line in Schmelz-Limbach, attention turned to the topics that will shape business and society in the years ahead.

Inspiring perspectives were provided by Peter Kropsch (dpa), who discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on the media landscape and the growing challenges posed by fake news, and Tobias Schüßler (GOLDBECK), who demonstrated how digitalization and automation can make the construction of solar parks faster and more efficient. A fascinating glimpse into future technologies was also offered by Anwar Al Assadi and Aulon Bajrami from the Fraunhofer Institute. Their humanoid robots, which they brought along for the event, attracted particular interest and made the future tangible for our guests.

Over excellent food, engaging conversations, and valuable exchanges, one thing became clear once again: the energy transition thrives on innovation, collaboration, and the courage to explore new paths.

We would like to sincerely thank all speakers, guests, and partners for an inspiring evening and are already looking forward to the next MEISER Energy Summit.
