Where press-welded gratings are required while simultaneously preventing smaller objects from falling through, MEISER offers press-welded gratings with integrated perforated steel strips.
Your contact persons GratingsAs conventional press-welded gratings cannot be manufactured with extremely fine mesh openings, perforated steel strips with maximum openings of 8 mm are welded between the bearing bars to create a significantly finer grid.
This design combines the outstanding structural strength of a press-welded grating with enhanced fall-through protection. The perforation pattern and strip arrangement can be adapted to achieve the optimum balance between safety, functionality and ease of cleaning. Dimensions, edging profiles and support arrangements can be customised to suit individual installation requirements. This design is available exclusively with a mesh size of 34.3 × 38.1 mm and complies with Spanish Standard No. 486/1997 (BOE No. 97/1997, 23 April 1997).
