Your contact persons GratingsRather than claiming to be superior to press-welded gratings, press-locked gratings offer greater design flexibility and a more refined appearance, making them the preferred choice for many architectural and customised applications.
During production, the cross bars—typically made from cold-rolled flat steel—are pressed into pre-punched bearing bars. The perimeter frame is manufactured from either a T-section or flat bar and attached using the resistance welding process.
Where increased slip resistance is required, the bearing bars and/or cross bars can be serrated. Opposing end meshes are generally identical in size, although the manufacturing process allows for virtually unlimited design possibilities in terms of mesh configuration, dimensions and appearance.
