Benningen solar park

Inspiration & Projekte: Benningen solar park

The Benningen solar park is located south of Memmingen in the district of Unterallgäu, Bavaria, Germany. Commissioned in 2023, the solar park has a total capacity of approximately 9.5 MWp and generates around 11,000 MWh of green electricity per year. With 17,280 solar modules, the system can supply approximately 3,000 households and save around 7,500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually. A particular feature of the project is the close cooperation with the municipality of Benningen, which operates part of the solar park on municipal land.
