Inspiration & Projekte: Herleshof solar park

The Herleshof solar park is located in the municipality of Kolitzheim in Lower Franconia, Germany, close to BELECTRIC’s headquarters. The solar park comprises three project areas and has a total capacity of 96.7 MWp. More than 165,000 solar modules have been installed across an area equivalent to around 1.6 times Munich’s Theresienwiese, generating approximately 105 GWh of green electricity per year. A particular focus of the project is biodiversity protection: more than 16 hectares of habitat compensation areas have been created to provide a habitat for endangered bird species.
