In the visitor and access areas of the Klagenfurt ice rink, the walk-on areas form the walkways for access to the rows of seats and are designed for high visitor frequency.
Sheet metal profile gratings with a perforated surface were installed as Stephuit N, supplemented by smooth sheet metal, each hot-dip galvanized. The open construction supports the drainage of moisture and dirt and makes cleaning easier, especially when moisture is regularly brought in from the ice rink. This creates robust grandstand surfaces for long-term operation.
